1) Agreement Overview
This Membership Terms & Checkout Agreement (“Agreement”) governs your purchase and use of any membership subscription offered by Skin With Bea Esthetics through our website and WooCommerce checkout (the “Site”), including any membership credits/points, discounts, and member benefits (collectively, the “Membership”).
By purchasing a Membership, you confirm that you have read, understand, and agree to this Agreement and any related policies posted on our Site, including our Privacy Policy and any treatment-specific policies or aftercare instructions.
Article I. Definitions
“Membership” means a recurring subscription purchased through our Site that provides member benefits, including credits/points and/or discounts, while the subscription remains active and in good standing.
“Billing Period” means the recurring interval for your Membership dues (typically monthly), shown at checkout.
“Membership Dues” means the recurring amount you agree to pay (e.g., $199/month), plus applicable taxes.
“Credits” or “Points” means non-cash loyalty credits issued through our Site for Membership benefits, redeemable only as described in this Agreement.
“Services” means treatments and professional services offered by Skin With Bea Esthetics.
“Products” means retail skincare or other physical goods sold through our Site or in-store.
“Good Standing” means your Membership is active, dues are paid, and your account is not suspended for policy violations or nonpayment.
“You/Your” means the person purchasing or using the Membership.
Article II. Membership Benefits (What You Get)
2.1 Monthly Dues & Monthly Credits
If you enroll in the $199/month Membership, you will be billed $199 each Billing Period (plus applicable taxes). While your Membership remains active and in good standing, you will receive 199 Credits/Points per Billing Period (typically issued upon successful renewal payment).
Credits/Points are issued for loyalty and membership purposes only. They are not cash, not a gift card, and not a bank account.
2.2 Discounts
While your Membership is active and in good standing, you may receive automatic discounts on eligible items:
- 30% discount on certain eligible Services/Products (as designated by SBE), and/or
- 15% discount on other eligible Services/Products (as designated by SBE)
Eligible categories/SKUs may change from time to time. Discounts apply only to items we designate as eligible.
2.3 How Credits/Points Can Be Used
Credits/Points may be redeemed toward eligible purchases as permitted in your account settings and the checkout rules at the time of purchase. Unless we state otherwise:
- Credits/Points may be used toward Services and/or Products sold by SBE
- Credits/Points cannot be exchanged for cash
- Credits/Points cannot be transferred to another person
- Credits/Points cannot be used to purchase gift cards (unless we explicitly allow it in writing)
2.4 No Guarantees
Membership benefits do not guarantee specific results or outcomes from any service or product. Skin responses vary, and treatment outcomes are not guaranteed.
Article III. Credits/Points Rules (Read This Part Twice)
3.1 Credits/Points Have No Cash Value
Credits/Points:
- are not legal tender
- have no cash value
- are not redeemable for cash or refunds
- are non-transferable
3.2 Expiration & Forfeiture
Unless we state otherwise on the Site:
- Credits/Points may expire after 12 months if not used.
- If your Membership is canceled or becomes inactive, any unused Credits/Points may be forfeited and may no longer be redeemable.
3.3 Fraud, Misuse, or Gaming
We may suspend or terminate Membership benefits if we detect misuse, including but not limited to:
- chargeback abuse
- attempted transfers or resale of benefits
- repeated refund/cancel patterns meant to “farm” credits
- account sharing
Article IV. Payment Terms
4.1 Auto-Renewal Authorization
By purchasing a Membership, you authorize Skin With Bea Esthetics (through WooCommerce and our payment processor) to automatically charge your payment method each Billing Period unless and until you cancel in accordance with this Agreement.
4.2 Non-Refundable
All Membership Dues and charges are non-refundable, including partially used periods, unused credits, or unused discounts—except where required by law.
4.3 Taxes
Applicable taxes may apply to Membership Dues and/or purchases. Taxes are calculated at checkout where required.
4.4 Failed Payments & Past-Due Amounts
If a payment fails, your Membership may enter a grace period or be temporarily paused. If we cannot collect payment:
- your Membership may be suspended or canceled
- credits/discounts may be paused
- you remain responsible for any outstanding balances
We may attempt to reprocess the payment according to our payment processor’s rules.
Article V. Cancellation & Changes
5.1 How to Cancel
You may cancel your Membership through your online account dashboard (preferred method) or by contacting us at hello@skinwithbea.com.
5.2 When Cancellation Takes Effect
Unless otherwise required by law:
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current Billing Period already paid.
- You will continue to have benefits through the end of that Billing Period if your account remains in good standing.
5.3 No Refunds for Cancellation
Canceling does not entitle you to a refund for:
- the current Billing Period
- unused Credits/Points
- unused discounts
- unused Services not booked and rendered
5.4 We May Change Membership Benefits or Pricing
We may modify Membership benefits, eligible discount categories, and/or pricing in the future. If required by law, we will provide advance notice. Changes apply prospectively (going forward).
Article VI. Medical & Treatment Terms
6.1 Medical Discretion / Candidacy
All Services are subject to clinical judgment, safety standards, candidacy, contraindications, and medical discretion. Purchasing a Membership does not guarantee you are a candidate for every treatment.
We may refuse, postpone, or modify treatment if it is not appropriate or safe.
6.2 Health Information & Disclosure
You agree to provide accurate health history and notify us of any changes, medications, pregnancy status, allergies, or conditions that may affect treatment safety or outcomes.
6.3 Assumption of Risk
You understand that aesthetic services can involve risks, side effects, and complications. You assume responsibility for choosing to undergo Services, and you agree to follow all pre- and post-care instructions.
Article VII. Chargebacks & Disputes
7.1 Chargebacks
If you file a chargeback for Membership Dues or purchases that were properly charged under this Agreement, we may suspend your Membership and revoke associated benefits (including unused Credits/Points), to the extent permitted by law.
7.2 Informal Resolution First
Before filing a dispute, please contact us at hello@skinwithbea.com so we can help resolve issues quickly.
Article VIII. Technical Errors
If a technical issue or system error results in incorrect points, discounts, or pricing, we reserve the right to correct the error (including adjusting points balances, canceling erroneous discounts, or correcting an order), to the extent permitted by law.
Article IX. Privacy & Communications
9.1 Communications
By purchasing a Membership, you consent to receive transactional communications related to your account, billing, scheduling, policies, and membership benefits by email and/or SMS, consistent with your preferences and applicable law.
9.2 Privacy
We handle personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Article X. Governing Law & Venue
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to conflict of law rules. Any legal action must be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction located in Maricopa County, Arizona, unless prohibited by law.
Article XI. Miscellaneous
11.1 Non-Transferable
Membership benefits are personal and may not be shared, transferred, assigned, or resold.
11.2 Entire Agreement
This Agreement and any policies referenced on our Site are the entire agreement between you and Skin With Bea Esthetics regarding the Membership.
11.3 Severability
If any part of this Agreement is found unenforceable, the remaining sections remain in effect.
